Dr. Winnie Ng

Dr. Ng received her Bachelor of Science and her Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree at University of British Columbia.  She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry, where she was awarded the Dr. Edward Joseph Troendle Jr. Award for dedication to the College and the profession of optometry.   

 Dr. Ng is interested in all aspects of eyecare, including pediatric vision, geriatric vision, vision therapy, and contact lenses.  She puts extra emphasis on proper patient education regarding their eyes and health issues.  She believes that good communication and working as a team with patients is the key to success in managing eye health. 

 Dr. Ng has recently moved to the Vancouver Island, and she loves it.  She is looking forward to getting involved with the community in helping to promote eye health, eye safety, and eye care to the public. 

 Dr. Ng is TPA certified in British Columbia and speaks English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin. 
 
In her free time, Dr. Ng is very curious about everything in life.  She enjoys travelling, trying out different cuisines, badminton, hiking, swimming, table tennis, tennis, dancing,  knitting, drawing, sewing, and singing.
