What
is an
optometrist?
The role of the profession of optometry is
to fulfill the vision and eye care needs of the public
through clinical
care, research, and education, all of which enhance
the quality of life. Doctors of Optometry (optometrists)
are independent primary health care providers who
specialize in the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management
of diseases and disorders of the visual system, the
eye
and associated structures as well as the diagnosis
of related
systemic conditions.
Special Product Features
First and foremost, we offer thorough
and accurate eye examinations. Before your prescription
can be determined,
a full history
of how you use your eyes is required. The health of
the eyes are checked using the most modern testing equipment
available. This includes tests for cataracts, glaucoma,
and macular degeneration. Eye focusing and co-ordination
are very important skills which need proper analysis,
as they can certainly affect the final prescription
for
eyeglasses.
Life is worth seeing.. protect your most precious
sense!
- Two year bumper to bumper eyewear warranty. Our eyeglasses
come with this unique offer to guarantee you receive
the highest quality in lenses and frames.
- Specialty lenses.
We love to see you benefit from the latest
advances in optical technology. High index (thin and
light lenses), progressive (no-line bifocals),
polycarbonate (safety) shatterproof lenses, and computer enhancement
lenses are all available. Sunglasses, swim goggles, dive
masks, shooting glasses,
and ski goggles are all available in prescription form.
- Guaranteed Contact
Lens Success Program. If you're not satisfied with the
vision, or comfort of contact lenses that we have fit,
we'll buy

lenses can be quite confusing; soft, hard, gas permeable,
disposable, tinted,
bifocal, etc. Our
trained staff are available to offer a personal consultation to anyone
interested in learning more about modern advances in lenses, and
which lenses might
be right for them.
- Laser surgery consultations. PRK and LASIK laser
pre-operative assessments are available. Is this surgery

the procedure ourselves, we'll give you an unbiased view on the
pro's and
con's, based
upon your individual needs.
